This is my second of glass containers with flip open plastic lids. The first set (another brand) were so hard to open that I am using them for long term, infrequent storage containers. I prefer these as the flip lid is easy to open and look nice in the fridge. ---- Hetty

I had medium hopes for these based on reviews and price. But I didn't want to keep microwaving in my plastic containers or using paper for my work lunches. These have been great. Don't leak, snap shut, and are a good portion size. I haven't tried to freeze them yet and never microwave with the lid on and ha d wash. ---- Katy
