I wanted clear GLASS water bottles to store juice smoothies in (no plastic!). Like the fact these are BPA free, and that they have leak-proof lids (I've had lots of problems with ugly green smoothies leaking in the past). These seem like they are really high quality, nice flint glass, nice fitting lids, all well made. Each bottle comes in it's own bubble wrap. These bottles are really versatile. The covers are plastic on glass bottles. Very easy to screw on and off. I have been using this for storing office supplies too and the long length of these help to store in tight spaces and looks neat and organized. I think these would be great for drinks too or if you like to bottle your own pickles or anything else. ----By Taratomo

These jars are the perfect shape and size! I love not having to reach for a large quart jar for all of the fresh juices I take to work. Quart jars are bulky! These glass jars are just the right size, straight on the sides and have a nice lid, not a ring and seal. I will use them daily; including storing food in the refrigerator regularly!
