I am so happy with this pitcher; it looks more elegant than I thought it would, and it's a good height--the height of a two-quart box of orange juice (I'd worried it would be too tall, it isn't.). I wanted it because I like to make iced tea (darkly steeped), with tea bags, but don't like the idea of pouring hot tea into a plastic pitcher to chill. I also don't like diluting the tea with a whole lot of ice. With this pitcher, I can safely pour hot tea directly into it and chill it in the fridge, so it doesn't lose any flavor, and just add an ice cube or two for fun. I started using this because my home 10-stage water filter didn't fit on my kitchen sink, so the filter ended up in the utility room. Not so convenient. This pitcher is a great work around. It's actually easier, because it's handy for serving and cooking as well. It's not overly heavy, but enough to get the job done. So I got a second one for the office. I leave it where patients can serve themselves. Important since I'm always pushing hydration. ----By Andy

Love this pitcher! I use it to boil water for tea and it's great that it can hold enough for a crowd. On a medium flame, the handle doesn't get too hot to hold unlike many of the other pitchers/kettles I've tried. ----By Christine
